Drumline Cadence – Alpha Zulu

This isn’t intended to be a cadence, though it could be played like one. You would play this three times and each time is faster. If you’re playing it as a cadence you lose the fun effect. Alpha Zulu is similar to and inspired by ancient drumline music played by the University of Cincinnati called Shaka Zulu. This would be played in the end zone during a football game with the dance team. This is the score for this version written for Snare, Quads, Bass, and Cymbals. This is a recording of the original Shaka Zulu.
