A simple exercise to help with these two 16th note check patterns. Anyone can play it but it’s specifically for the drummers playing the Run On Cadence. Step one would be to play through this at just 3 inches. Play through each tempo until you find your limit. Now start at the beginning and go to your maximum at 6 inches. Then at again at 9 inches and so on. In a few days to a week work on getting up to 170 again at 3 inches. Once you can play all tempos at 3 inches work on increasing the height while staying relaxed. NO TENSION!
